Short Troma Ngondro
སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་ནི༔
Taking refuge
ཕཊཿ
Phad
ཡེ་གཞི་ཀ་དག་ཕྱོགས་ཡན་ཀུན་བཟང་མོ༔
yé zhi ka dag shög yan kun zang mo
In the primordial ground, boundless original purity, Samantabhadri,
རང་བཞིན་རང་ངོར་སངས་པ་མཁའ་སྤྱོད་མ༔
rang zhin rang ngor sang pa kha shöd ma
in the nature awakened within its essence, Khechari,
ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཀུན་ཁྱབ་བརྡལ་བ་ཁྲོས་མའི་སྐུར༔
tug jé kun kyab dal wa troo mee kur
and in all-pervasive compassion, the enlightened body of Krodhikali,
སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆིའོ་དགོངས་པར་འུབ་ཆུབ་རོལ༔
kyab su chi o gong par ub chub rol
I take refuge and so will completely actualize the enlightened view.སེམས་བསྐྱེད་ནི༔
Generating bodhichitta
ཕཊཿ
phad
འགྲོ་ཀུན་སྲིད་པའི་མཚོ་ལས་བསྒྲལ་བར་བྱ༔
dro kun sid pee tso lee dral war sha
Phad. To liberate all beings from the ocean of existence,
སྐྱབས་གནས་དམ་པའི་མཆོག་རྣམས་དགོངས་སུ་གསོལ༔
kyab nee dam pee chög nam gong su sol
supreme and excellent objects of refuge, please heed me.
བདག་གིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་བསླབ་ལ་གནས༔
dag gee shang chub sem kyed lhab la nee
I will train in the generation of bodhichitta.
འཁོར་བ་དོང་སྤྲུགས་ནུས་པའི་དཔལ་ཐོབ་ཤོག༔
khor wa dong trug nū pee pal tob shög
May I attain the glorious power to churn samsara from its depths.
མནྡལ་ནི༔
Mandala offering
ཕཊཿ
Phad
སྟོང་གསུམ་རབ་འབྱམས་བཀོད་པ་ཕྱི་ཡི་ཡུལ༔
tong sum rab jam köd pa shi yi yul
The outer realm, the array of the vast three-thousand-fold world system,
རང་ལུས་བཀོད་པ་རབ་རྫོགས་ནང་གི་དཔལ༔
rang lū köd pa rab dzög nang gi pal
the inner glory, the complete array of my own body,
རང་སྣང་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་བཀོད་པ་གསང་བའི་དལ༔
rang nang lhun drub köd pa sang wee dal
the secret mandala, the array of spontaneously present self-appearance,
ཚོགས་གཉིས་རྫོགས་ཕྱིར་རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་འབུལ༔
tsög nyee dzög shir gyal wa nam la bul
I offer these to the victorious ones in order to complete the two accumulations.
ཚོགས་བསགས་ནི༔
Accumulation of merit
ཕཊཿ
Phad
སྐུ་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ༔
ku sum gyal wa nam la shag tsal lo
I prostrate to the victorious ones of the three kayas.
ལུས་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཐམས་ཅད་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ༔
lū dang long shöd tam jad chöd pa bul
I offer my body and all my enjoyments.
སྒོ་གསུམ་ཉེས་པའི་སྒྲིབ་ཚོགས་མཐོལ་ལོ་བཤགས༔
go sum nyee pee drib tsög tol lo shag
I confess the accumulated faults and obscurations of my three doors.
རྣམ་དཀར་དགེ་ཚོགས་ཀུན་ལ་རྗེས་ཡི་རང༔
nam kar gé tsög kun la jee yi rang
I rejoice in all accumulation of wholesome virtue.
གང་ལ་གང་འདུལ་ཆོས་འཁོར་བསྐོར་བར་བསྐུལ༔
gang la gang dul choo khor kor war kul
I beseech you to turn the wheel of dharma, taming in whatever way necessary.
རྒྱལ་རྣམས་མྱ་ངན་མི་འདའ་བཞུགས་གསོལ་འདེབས༔
gyal nam nya ngan mi da zhug sol deb
I pray that the victorious ones do not pass into nirvana but remain.
བདག་གི་དགེ་རྩ་འགྲོ་བ་ཡོངས་ལ་བསྔོ༔
dag gi gé tsa dro wa yong la ngo
I dedicate my roots of virtue to all beings.
མ་ལུས་ཕྱམ་གཅིག་སངས་རྒྱས་ས་ཐོབ་ཤོག༔
ma lū sham jig sang gyee sa tob shög
May everyone, without exception, attain buddhahood all together.
བླ་མའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ནི༔
Guru yoga
ཕཊཿ
Phad
རང་སྣང་རྣམ་དག་དོན་གྱི་འོག་མིན་ན༔
rang nang nam dag don gyi ög min na
Within the realm of self-appearance, the ultimate Akanishta,
སྐུ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་རབ་རྫོགས་བླ་མ་རྗེ༔
ku dang yé shee rab dzög la ma jé
the lord guru, the utter completeness of kayas and wisdom,
དོན་དམ་མི་ཤིགས་ངོ་བོ་ཐིག་ལེའི་སྐུ༔
don dam mi shig ngo wo tig lee ku
the ultimate truth, the indestructible essence, the embodiment of bindu,
སྨིན་གྲོལ་དབང་དང་གདམས་པའི་མཛོད་དུ་ཤར༔
min drol wang dang dam pee dzöd du shar
arises as a treasury of ripening empowerments and liberating instructions.

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་སྐུ་བཞིའི་བདག་ཉིད་དཔལ༔
sol wa deb so ku zhee dag nyid pal
I pray to you, glorious embodiment of the four kayas.
དད་མོས་གདུང་ཤུགས་དྲག་པོས་ཐུགས་རྒྱུད་བསྐུལ༔
dad moo dung shug drag poo tug gyud kul
With intense faith and devotion, I invoke your enlightened mind.
མ་རིག་སྒོང་རྒྱར་དུབ་པའི་སེམས་སེམས་བྱུང༔
ma rig gong gyar dub pee sem sem shung
May mind and mental events, enclosed within the shell of ignorance,
ཡེ་གཞི་ཀ་དག་ཀློང་ཆེན་དགོངས་པར་རོལ༔
yé zhi ka dag long chen gong par rol
manifest as the vast expanse of original purity, the primordial ground.
ཕཊ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ༔
phad phad phad
དེ་ནས་འགྱེད་བཞི་སོགས་ལུས་སྦྱིན་གང་ཡིན་ལ་འཇུག །
Next, engage in any form of offering the body, the four feasts, etc.
མཐར་ཆོས་སྦྱིན་སོགས་ནི།
Towards the end, giving the dharma.
ན་མོ།
namo
ཆོས་རྣམས་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱུ་ལས་བྱུང༌།།
choo nam tam jad gyu lee shung
All phenomena arise from causes.
རྒྱུ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་གསུངས།།
gyu dé dé zhin sheg pee sung
Those causes were taught by the Tathagata.
རྒྱུ་ལ་འགོག་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ།།
gyu la gög pa gang yin pa
Whatever is the cessation of those causes
དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོས་འདི་སྐད་གསུངས།།
gé jong chen poo di kad sung
the great renunciant has spoken thus.
སྡིག་པ་ཅི་ཡང་མི་བྱ་ཞིང་།།
dhig pa ji yang mi sha zhing
Do not commit any misdeeds.
དགེ་བ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པར་སྤྱད།།
gé wa pun sum tsög par shad
Practice virtue perfectly.
རང་གི་སེམས་ནི་ཡོངས་སུ་འདུལ།།
rang gi sem ni yong su dul
Thoroughly tame your mind.
འདི་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་པ་ཡིན།།
di ni sang gyee tan pa yin
This is the doctrine of the Buddha.
ཕཊཿ

སྦྱིན་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་གྱུར་པ་འདི་ཡི་མཐུས།།
jin pa gya chen gyur pa di yi tū
By the power of this great generosity,
འགྲོ་བའི་དོན་དུ་རང་བྱུང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཤོག །
dro wee don du rang shung sang gyee shög
may I become a self-arisen buddha for the benefit of beings.
སྔོན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མ་བསྒྲལ་བའི།།
ngon gyi gyal wa nam kyee ma dral wee
May the beings who were not liberated by the victorious ones of the past
སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་སྦྱིན་པས་གྲོལ་གྱུར་ཅིག །
kyé woo tsög nam jin pee drol gyur jig
be liberated through this generosity.
དགེ་བ་འདི་ཡིས་མྱུར་དུ་བདག །
gé wa di yee nyur du dag
By this merit, may I swiftly
ཡུམ་ཆེན་ཤེར་ཕྱིན་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ནས།།
yum chen sher shin drub gyur nee
accomplish Prajnaparamita, the great mother
འགྲོ་བ་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མ་ལུས་པ།།
dro wa jig kyang ma lū pa
and establish all beings without exception
དེ་ཡི་ས་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག །
dé yi sa la göd par shög
in that state.
ཁམས་གསུམ་དག་པའི་ཞིང་།
kham sum dag pee zhing
The pure land, the three realms,
སྲིད་གསུམ་སྙིང་རྗེའི་མགྲོན།
sid sum nying jee dron
the guests of compassion, the three levels of existence,
མ་ལུས་ཁྱབ་པའི་ཟས།
ma lū kyab pee zee
and all-pervading food —
ཆོས་ཉིད་ནུས་པའི་མཐུས།
choo nyid nū pee tū
by the power of dharmata,
མཆོད་སྦྱིན་མི་ཟད་པའི།
chöd jin mi zad pee
I dedicate this as an inexhaustible offering,
ལོངས་སྤྱོད་གཏེར་དུ་བསྔོ།
long shöd ter du ngo
a treasury of enjoyments.
ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ
om mani padma hum hrih
ཞེས་བསྔོ་སྨོན་གྱིས་རྒྱས་གདབ་པར་བྱའོ༎
Thus, conclude the practice with dedication and aspirations.
