Prayer to Machig Labdron

ཡུམ་དོན་ཕྱོགས་མེད་ལྟ་བ་ཉིད། །

yum don shög med ta wa nyid

You realized perfectly the view beyond partiality, the meaning of the Mother,

མཉམ་ཉིད་སྒོམ་པས་ཀློང་གྱུར་ཅིང་། །

nyam nyid gom pee long gyur jing

through the meditation of equality.

རྟོག་མེད་སྤྱོད་པས་སྐྱེ་མེད་རྟོགས། །

tög med shöd pee kyé med tög

You realized the unborn through the conduct beyond conceptuality.

མ་ཅིག་ལབ་ཀྱི་སྒྲོན་མ་ལ། །

ma jig lab kyi dron ma la

Machig Labdron,

བུ་ཡིས་སྙིང་ནས་གསོལ་འདེབས་ན། །

wu yee nying nee sol deb na

when this child prays to you from the heart,

ཚད་མེད་སྙིང་རྗེས་རྒྱུད་འབྱོངས་ཤིང་། །

tsad med nying jee gyud jong shing

grant blessings so that my mind may be trained in immeasurable compassion,

རིག་པ་དབྱིངས་སུ་འཕོ་བ་དང་། །

rig pa ying su po wa dang

my awareness transferred into space,

ཕུང་པོ་གཟན་དུ་བསྐྱུར་ནས་ཀྱང་། །

pung po zan du kyur nee kyang

and my aggregates cast off as food.

སྤྲོས་མེད་ངང་ལ་མཉམ་བཞག་པའི། །

troo med ngang la nyam zhag pee

Grant blessings to reach the culmination of practice,

ཉམས་ལེན་མཐར་སོན་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

nyam len tar son shin gyee lob

equipoise in the state beyond conceptual proliferation.
