Long-Life Prayer for Ani Pema Chödrön
ཨོྃ་སྭ་སྟི༔
om svasti
འཆི་མེད་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཚེ་མཐའ་ཡས།།
chi med dzög pee sang gyee tsé ta yee
Amitayus, deathless samyaksambuddha,
འཇིགས་པ་ཀུན་སེལ་ཡིད་བཞིན་འཁོར་ལོ་མ།།
jig pa kun sel yid zhin khor lo ma
White Tara, wish-fulfilling wheel who dispels all fears,
ཨོ་རྒྱན་དཔའ་བོ་པད་མ་འབྱུང་གནས་སོགས།།
o gyan pa wo pad ma jung nee sög
Padmasambhava, hero of Oddiyana, and so on,
རྩ་གསུམ་ལྷ་ཚོགས་དམ་ཅན་སྲུང་མའི་དལ།།
tsa sum lha tsög dam jan sung mee dal
mandala of the three roots, and assembly of oath-bound protectors,
བདག་ཅག་དང་བའི་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་གསོལ་འདེབས་ན།།
dag jag dang wee yid kyee sol deb na
to them we pray with pure devotion.
དེང་འདིར་སྨོན་ལམ་འགྲུབ་པའི་དཔང་བོར་བཞུགས།།
deng dir mon lam drub pee pang wor zhug
At this very moment, we request them to remain as witnesses to the fulfillment of this aspiration:
ཐོག་མེད་དུས་ནས་དྲི་བྲལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས།།
tög med dū nee dri dral shang chub sem
Since beginningless time, you have firmly held stainless bodhichitta
སྙིང་གི་ནོར་བུར་དམ་དུ་བཅིངས་པ་ཡིས།།
nying gi nor wur dam du jing pa yee
as the jewel of your heart, and so
སྙིགས་མའི་དུས་འདིར་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་མོ་ཡི།།
nyig mee dū dir sem pa chen mo yi
in this degenerate age, you manifest as a great bodhisattva,
རྣམ་པར་སྤྲུལ་བ་པད་མ་ཆོས་སྒྲོན་མཆོག།
nam par trul wa pad ma choo dron chög
the supreme guide, Pema Chodron.
མི་འདོད་ཉེར་འཚེའི་དཔུང་ཚོགས་ལས་རྒྱལ་ཞིང་།།
mi död nyer tsee pung tsög lee gyal zhing
May you be victorious over the forces of negativity
ཞབས་ཟུང་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཁྲི་ལ་རྟག་བཞུགས་བཞིན།།
zhab zung dho jee tri la tag zhug zhin
May your feet remain forever firm upon the vajra throne,
ཁམས་དབང་སྣ་ཚོགས་གདུལ་བྱ་གྲངས་མང་བར།།
kham wang na tsög dul sha drang mang war
bestowing the feast of the profound Dharma
ཟབ་མོ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དགའ་སྟོན་འགྱེད་བཞིན་དུ།།
zab mo choo kyi ga ton gyed zhin du
upon a multitude of disciples of various dispositions.
ཐུགས་ཀྱི་བཞེད་དོན་མ་ལུས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་འགྲུབ།།
tug kyi zhed don ma lū lhun gyee drub
May all your heart’s wishes be spontaneously fulfilled.
གང་གི་གཟི་བྱིན་ཟླ་བའི་འོད་མདངས་ཀྱིས།།
gang gi zi shin da wee öd dang kyee
By the radiant splendor of your majestic brilliance, like the luster of the moon,
ཡངས་པའི་ཐ་གྲུ་མཛེས་པར་གསལ་གྱུར་ཅིག།
yang pee ta dru dzee par sal gyur jig
may the vast extent of the world be beautifully illuminated.
ཅེས་སྒམ་པོ་ཨ་བྷེའི་འདུས་སྡེ་དང་ཁ་ན་ཌ་དྷརྨ་ཏཱའི་དད་ལྡན་གྱི་ཆོས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བསྐུལ་ངོར། སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་མོ་ཨ་ནེ་པད་མ་ཆོས་སྒྲོན་གྱི་ཞབས་བརྟེན་དུ།རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཁ་ན་ཌིའི་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ཚོགས་བདུད་འཇོམས་རྫོང་དུ་ཨ་གནམ་ཐུབ་བསྟན་གྱིས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ།
